The next day we started with our Hilltribe Trek. The first day it was 5,5 km with two 'babyhills'. It were more than just babyhills I can assure you! It took us abou 3/4 hours to arrive at our first village. We had a waterfight with the children and played soccer. They showed their village, it was very small and there were trash everywhere. Later our guide explained that they are going to invest in trashcans. And that Intrepid will donate this. We slept all together in a bamboohut, when somebody moved you could feel that. So it was a sleepless night for us..
At day 2 we had to walk for 6 km and there was one 'babyhill' and one 'mamahill'. At the end there was a waterfall, I went in it. But it was very cold so 10 minutes was long enough for me. We arrived at our village and this one looked much nicer than the other one. Much cleaner and the bamboohut were we should was more comfortable. We had a mat now to sleep on instead of a blanket.
That night I played some games with our Intrepid guide and two Hilltribe guides. When you lost the game someone else draw something on your face with chalk.
And the last day it was only 1,5 hour walk so that was nice instead of the 3/4 hours walk the last two days. This trek was a good experience to see how Hilltribe people live. I really enjoyed it!
